GSW Formation - version #2

It was bitter cold and there was a good amount of snow on the roads. Aaron thought the town would be deserted enough to carry out his plan. He was fourteen years old. He just smoked pot for the first time a week ago. This in turn led him to the loss of his virginity. All this was due to the fact that the girl who got him stoned was a friend of Aaron's older sister who kind of had a thing for Aaron. In other words Aaron was feeling pretty good about himself. Except for one kink. Just as Aaron and his sister's friend finished their lovemaking, Aaron's parents pulled up. They didn't actually catch him with his pants down, but they sensed that something was up. In order to punish him they told him that they weren't going to get him that Fender Stratocaster guitar for his birthday. He was pissed. He wanted that guitar. He needed that guitar. He was feeling pretty confident lately, so he was going to get that guitar no matter what it took.....

Jon told his dad he was going to close up the shop that same night. His dad was kind of a failed rock and roll star. His claim to fame was playing a few drum tracks on some obscure Roy Orbison album. What else to do for a frustrated musician than to open up a music store. And that's exactly what he did. His son Jon liked it. He got to play on the pianos and organs that were there. He didn't mind staying late. He didn't care much for the guitars in the window. He always thought the piano to be a more intellectual pursuit. He was just putting the finishing touches on a Chopin prelude when he heard the window smash.....

Tom had been in a special school for juvenile delinquents for about two months (By a strange coincidence it was Tom who sold the drugs to Aaron's sister's friend, who got Aaron stoned - and then went on to sleep with him). So yeah , Tom got busted on drug charges. To be honest it wasn't merely drug charges that Tom got busted on. He was also cited for driving a stolen car without a license, using a stolen credit card, and impersonating a police officer. He was a real bad egg. He didn't care much for the school at all, he especially didn't like the fact that they were forcing hm to learn how to read.....

Dan and Lo were working on an extra credit project together. It was for social studies class, and they were involved in setting up a project to help juvenile delinquents become rehabilitated and get back into the regular school system. They had recently decided to do some field study and visit some 'special schools' in the area. They were very intelligent and hard working students, and they really wanted to make a difference. Dan used to give his Social Studies teacher an apple at least once a week. It was said that he had a crush on her. She was supposedly a very attractive woman (actually they became an item a few short years later, but Dan had to call it off due to her habit of picking at her toes constantly).....

Aaron wrapped his army jacket around him tightly, grabbed a brick from the flower garden, and headed mile by mile to Bevo's Music Emporium. He was pissed. He was mean. He was going to get that guitar. The streets were deserted. The town was dead. He tightened his grip on the brick. He turned the corner. He saw the store window. He looked left. He looked right. Nobody. He threw the brick. It soared through the window with a crash. It hooked left passed the guitars, over a drum kit, and over the piano. It hit little Johnny Bevo square in the forehead and knocked him out cold. Aaron hadn't seen him in there. He rushed in when he noticed what had happened. He was tough, but he had heart. He went to the 13 year old Bevo. He looked dead. He was pale. He was bleeding, but he was breathing. Aaron had no choice - he carried the broken body the twelve blocks through the bitter cold to the hospital, and told them everything that had happened. The authorities were notified.....

Aaron and Tom quickly grew to like each other in their school. They had many similar interests. They both wanted to play rock and roll. They wanted money, babes, and power. They wanted to be cool. It wasn't long before Dan and Lo found their way to that very school. They worked with Aaron and Tom, sharing their ideas about rehabilitatng them through music. At first they tried classical, and then jazz. Eventually they settled in on rock and roll. There influences rubbed off on one another. Aaron and Tom supplied coolness, while Dan and Lo supplied the intellect and the motivation. It was a good combination except for one thing. Aaron still felt a nagging guilt for putting Bevo into a coma for two and a half weeks. He asked him to join the band, knowing that he was playing the piano before he was hit in the head. Although Bevo never quite returned to his previous self, he was just happy to be making music again. And all was well.....
